The Real Reason I Don't Know Myself

ree

Someone asked me today: "Do you really know yourself?"

I was speechless. My name, age, job, MBTI type... Is that all there is to me?

Think about when you're in love.

You want to know everything about them—their preferences, habits, even the way they talk.

Remember your first love?

You probably memorized their favorite coffee brand.

But what about yourself?

"Why am I so irritated today?"

"Why do I keep making the same mistakes?"

"Why do I always end up with the same type of person?"

I don't know. I really don't know.

It's hard to love someone you don't know.

And that includes yourself.

This is why we hate ourselves, blame ourselves, and feel anxious all the time.

Because we don't know ourselves.

Because we don't understand ourselves.

Self-understanding isn't a luxury.

It's the beginning of love and the foundation of growth.

Do I really know myself?

Or am I just under the illusion that I do?

Let's talk about the "real me" that's been hidden all along.

Beneath the tip of the iceberg lies a vast world of the unconscious.
